Solar Eclipse Reflections

Updated: 3 days ago

When a solar eclipse occurs, it symbolizes parts of our consciousness being hidden or “eclipsed” from our awareness. This is why, during most New Moons, we often don’t fully understand how we feel. Our desires can seem out of reach, leaving us blank, confused, or indecisive. This uncertainty is completely natural—and actually purposeful. It invites us to slow down, rest, and reflect.

Just as the sun’s light is eclipsed by the moon, our true feelings may also be veiled. This is not a time for action, but for withdrawal and introspection. Give yourself permission to go within, to be a hermit for a while. One of the most powerful practices now is to reflect on your own divinity. Start by asking these simple but profound questions:

What am I? Who am I?  How do I want to feel? Take your journal, write slowly, and let the insights emerge.

You may discover thoughts such as:

I am pure consciousness. I am Light. I am Energy. I am always connected, never separate, from All That Is. I want to feel peaceful, confident, or joy...

Even writing these words can send waves of energy through the body. This is the magic of reflection—it reshapes our thoughts, shifts how our body feels, and opens new inner pathways we’ve never traveled before. It is exciting, revelatory, and deeply healing. When we return from this space, we feel calm, still, and at peace—ready to move forward and make decisions from the most aligned and beneficial place.
